Royal Ambassadors (RA) is an exciting and fun-filled missions education organization for boys in grades 2–6. Through RA, boys gain a greater understanding of God’s work in the world and how they can join Him in His work. RA’s learn about the world, pray for the world, and learn how they can be used to tell others about God’s Son, Jesus. An ambassador can be defined as a messenger or representative—someone who tells or reveals truth. Royal Ambassadors seek to share the truth that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Royal Ambassadors meet together every Wednesday Night during the school year at 7:00 P.M.
Girls in Action (GA) is an exciting and fun-filled missions education organization for girls in grades 2-6. Through GA, girls gain a greater understanding of God’s work in the world and how they can join Him in His work. As GA’s meet together they learn the work of missionaries, how to pray for others, what the Bible says about missions and what they can do in their own communities to serve and share Jesus with others. GA helps girls gain a biblical worldview that challenges them to live a missions lifestyle everywhere they go and in whatever they may do. Girls in Action meet together every Wednesday Night during the school year at 7:00 P.M.
Mission Friends is for preschoolers ages 4 years old through 1st Grade. The primary objective is to provide a strong foundation for preschoolers in a Christian and missions lifestyle. Mission Friends provides developmentally appropriate missions learning experiences to help preschoolers move from a self-centered focus to a focus on others, to become aware that not everyone knows about God’s love, and to understand ways they can help others know about this good news! Mission Friends meet together every Wednesday Night during the school year at 7:00 P.M.
R-Town is the children’s church that takes place on Sunday Mornings at 11:00 A.M. during our corporate worship service. R-Town is a place for children from the ages of Pre-K (4) to 6th Grade to worship the Lord through singing, teaching, games and memorizing God’s Word. The children start out praising God through song. From there, the children are split up into 2 to 3 groups based on age. Each group will go through 3 different stations. Reaction (a time for games and exercise), Memory Verse/Bible Drills (a time to memorize verses and books from God’s Word), and Lesson (a time for teaching with the Word of God). To ensure our children’s safety, all of our R-Town volunteers have undergone proper screening and have been through the new members class with our Lead Pastor and Wife, Chuck and Mary Baker.
Nursery is designed for children to have fun while learning about our risen savior, Jesus Christ, in a monitored and safe environment. The nursery is available for children from infants to four years of age from 9:45 A.M. to 12:15 P.M. All of the men and women that serve as part of our nursery staff have undergone proper screening and have completed the new members class with our Lead Pastor and his wife, Chuck and Mary Baker.
Vacation Bible School is an annual, week long event designed to share the Gospel with the children of the Richland Missouri Community. Every year our VBS has a different theme and has designed games, crafts, songs for worship, and lessons. This year we invite all children from Grades Pre-K (4) to 6th Grade to, take a journey with us on the Cave Quest! Get ready for a 2016 Vacation Bible School that will teach kids to follow the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as He is the Light of the World.
